Hi,

Thanks a lot for you powerfull script, it works great !

I wonder if I could use it to compress files individualy (all files in folders and subfolders) and then do a mirroring to backup and zip only the files that have been changed since last backup.

Any idea how I can do that with this script ?

Hi Zen_Ro0ts,
not sure I understand your needs. Could you please make an example ?

Hi Anlan,

Here is what I meant :

Assume that :
A is a folder containing subfolders AA and AB.
2 files located in A, a1.txt and a2.txt
2 files located in AA, aa1.txt and aa2.txt
2 files locates in AB, ab1.txt and ab2.txt
BAK is a backup folder.

For all files in A and in subfolders I want them to be zipped individually in BAK :
BAK\A\a1.zip
BAK\A\a2.zip
BAK\A\AA\aa1.zip
and so on...

Then next time I run the script I want only to zip and replace the files in BAK that have changed in A since last backup.

Hope I've been clear enough
Thanks for your help

Thank you for your explanation.
Unfortunately no, what you wish is not possible.
It would require a complete redesign of the script which is out of scope.

Thank you for your interest anyway.
